Services and Fees

We represent claimants at all levels of the Social Security disability process, and we are able to represent claimants throughout the US. Billie is licensed in Massachusetts, and Judith is licensed in North Carolina and New York. We are based in North Carolina, and we frequently travel to New York and Massachusetts.

When we are retained to represent a claimant, we use a contingent fee structure. We charge a fee only when the claimant wins the case and is awarded a retroactive payment. Attorney fees for representation in Social Security disability cases are regulated, and must be approved by SSA. The amount of the fee is currently 25% of the claimant’s back pay not to exceed a total fee of $6000, and is subject to change at such times when SSA amends its attorney fee regulations.
